The Barcelona Packaging Hub, a joint initiative of seven packaging specialists - Effytec Packaging, InvPack, Mengibar, Synchropack, United Barcode Systems, Volpack and Xolertic - was recently launched. Its main objective is to manage larger, more complex packaging projects for customers worldwide.

It is a platform where packaging experts share their knowledge and experience. It covers various packaging sectors, including food, pharmaceuticals and personal hygiene.

The benefit is not limited to customers. It also provides an opportunity for members of the organization to collaborate, learn and develop.

In terms of expansion strategy, the hub aims to focus on different geographical areas. Target countries include France, the USA, Thailand, Mexico, Morocco and Dubai. This strategic approach will enable the hub to reach a global customer base and meet a diverse range of packaging needs.
